SUPER OWNERS: Acknowledging the best out on the waves

If you've been on the GetMyBoat platform recently, you may have noticed a new badge added to some owner's listing accounts, indicating they are "Super Owners." This designation highlights GetMyBoat captains and owners who consistently go above and beyond for their customers, providing them with the best possible experience out on the water.

Every three months, we evaluate active owners on our platform to determine Super Owner status.

Top tips for becoming a Super Owner:

  1. Add the BEST images to your listing profile. First impressions matter!
  2. Respond as quickly as possible to booking inquiries and customer questions. Detailed responses and clear communication help customers feel confident when choosing your service
  3. Stay organized to avoid the need to cancel boat charters. Top captains and owners rarely cancel confirmed trips.
  4. Ask customers what they want to experience and help them create the ideal boating itinerary
  5. Provide top-notch service on every charter and for every rental. Think of little extras that will make the trip special.
  6. Always write reviews of your guests and add photos of them enjoying their experience - this prompts them to write reviews of you and rate your charter.

On the day of our charter, the weather was not ideal, but Fernando was extremely accommodating in allowing us to depart a few hours later than we had originally planned. His wife was extremely attentive in making sure everyone had any drinks and snacks they needed throughout the entire time. They even got us a bottle of champagne for a toast.
