She is the perfect sized boat for Kona waters. We can fish lighter tackle up to heavy duty #130. Your Captain Dan Holt has many years of fishing experience here in Kona and around the world. Fishing for whatever bites is his favorite way to spend the day. Your crewman/wireman/everything man is TJ Heath. TJ grew up fishing for yellowfin tuna and is well versed in fishing for anything that swims in Hawaiian water. From spear fishing to shoreline casting to big game trolling you will be in very capable hands. Kona is the pacific blue marlin capital of the world, however we are blessed with a chance of catching many other pelagic species such as black marlin, striped marlin, short nosed spearfish, yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna, albacore, skipjack tuna, mahi-mahi and wahoo. Depending on the time of year you may also spot a variety of whales and porpoises. Trips are 4, 6, and 8 hours and we can customize the time to accommodate your schedule better. Be sure to bring whatever you’d like to eat and drink for your trip and be sure to remember sunglasses and sunscreen as the sun on the ocean can be unforgiving. The captain and crew work very hard to maintain the boat and equipment so you can have a worry free day. Tipping the crew is greatly appreciated.
