Recreational Kayaks for Everyday Use

The orange 10 foot kayak is great for everyday water use! It has foot pegs, a padded seat, storage compartment, and a water bottle holder. It has a wide design which allows it to stay stable during movement. The blue 8 foot kayak is very similar, but the smaller size allows for tighter spaces to be accessed. The blue kayaks has a padded back rest, paddle holders, water bottle holder, and storage bungees. A paddle and life jacket are included with the rental. A dry bag, marine line, and waterproof phone float bag may be added for no extra charge, if available. The listing price is for a single kayak. Mark the number of passangers as the number of kayaks desired. If only one kayak is needed, message me the preferred kayak, and I will do my best to accommodate. I will transport the kayaks to most locations along the Chickamauga Creek and Harrison Bay area. I will also pick up from different locations than dropped off at if you wish to travel further downstream. Please contact me before booking to confirm I can drop off at the desired location. I will also provide a discount to those who transport the kayak themselves. Message me for details. I do have other kayaks and paddle boards available. Please check out those listings too! If you have any questions, we can answer those through GetMyBoat’s messaging platform before you pay. Just hit, “Send Inquiry” and send us an inquiry for a custom offer.

Additional Terms & Information

Bad weather (raining, lightening, strong winds, etc) will require cancelation. I will refund you if these occur, and I will NOT take the kayaks out in bad weather. The kayaks may not be used at all in bad weather conditions for safety considerations. Weather is always an acceptable cancelation. Per TN and GA state laws all people on the kayak must have a life vest on the kayak (not necessarily on their bodies) at all times and anyone under the age of 13 must have one on at all times. I will provide life vests. Most of my life vests are universal adult, but let me know if this size will not work and what size if so. The weight capacity of the orange kayak is 275 lbs and the blue is 260 lbs. This is the total weight of the kayaker and all gear. For safety reasons, do no exceed this. Try to stay several pounds under to be safe. If a higher weight capacity is needed, I have paddle boards that can convert into kayak seats. Please look at these instead. The boats are not meant to be drug on the ground of through rocks or rough surfaces. Please be careful to pick them up. In certain cases, the water may be too shallow to kayak through. If so, you can get out of the kayak and pull it over the shallow area to keep kayaking. Be careful of ripply currents because the water is often shallow and fast, so the kayaks will drag on the rocks and it may be hard to control the kayak in such water. Try your best to keep the kayak from hitting things because it will eventually ruin the kayak. Examples include: downed tree limbs, high rocks, and gravelly surfaces. Do not get the kayaks near boats because the boat wake can unbalance the kayaks and boats often can not see the kayaks. In the event too much water gets in the kayak, the kayak may need to be brought to land and be drained at the bottom (hold it up so water comes out of the drainage hole).
